Tweak the Food, please...

Love the game and its really cute but I spend more time waiting now for food to grow then any real play time. I feed my bunnies and then I am out of food too fast to continue on. Please tweak this as play time is too limited now.

I too agree with this right now it's a waiting game for food, the best I can get is peppers they take 10 mins. Once the 4 peppers are done they only satisfy one bunny really.... it's a great game but waiting that long to barely do anything to my bunnys energy is pain....

Yeah, I agree waiting for food to grow can be tough but I found that I don't play with all of my bunnies at the same time unlike when I first started playing Tunnel Town. I let them take turns in mining, digging, etc. If I'm not using a particular bunny, I let them sleep, rest on a beanbag, or they can rest on the ground to get more energy on their own. Then I plant food and only play with the bunnies who have higher energy. Once these bunnies are worn out and have no more energy, I exit Tunnel Town, let them rest up. When I come back, I alternate the bunnies and most of my crops would be ready for harvest.

That's great advice Curlyg1rly2. I also found that if you have 20 mins, just grow carrots, they only take 30 seconds and they don't cost any gems to plant them. You build up a bunch of those and you can keep the bunnies fed, then over night you do something that takes longe. Pick and re-plant, it's the biggest bang for your buck!

I always do that, but sometimes, if you want to level up your bunnies, you need to grow higher XP crops so the bunnies level up faster. The strawberries work best, since they're 125 gems, but if you can't afford them, use your stock of carrots to feed your bunnies. Then place your bunnies to mine for gems.

So, with the last update, or maybe two updates ago, I noticed that the time went down for some of the food, did anyone else notice this too, or am I just remembering it wrong? Seems like the strawberries took three hours to grow when the game first came out, now they just take 1 hour! Some of them are the same, like carrots are still 30 seconds. I guess the TT peeps are seeing our requests on this page! Now we just need more goals! lol

We don't make the game. This wikia is made by fans, not creators.

I recommend taking some time just planting a ton of carrots and some green lettuce. That's what gets me through making sure my bunnies have enough to give them energy. I'll plant carrots, go look for bugs for my bug goals, collect any gems my bunnies have mined, then come back pick the carrots and replant some more. Carrots dont cost any gems to plant, so even if you don't have many gems, you can get lots of carrots stocked up and they only take 30 seconds to grow. Lettuce is only 5 gems to plant and I like to stock up on that too, and it only takes 1 min to grow those. There are planting goals, so that will help you reach those goals too! Make sure you use your energy furniture too, I like to do that over night, put the bunnies on the bed or chairs or beanbags to get all their energy back, thent hey are ready the next day to start mining gems again!

obviously there are some planting goals that include planting plants that take longer, I would do those overnight too, it will be done in the morning when you wake up!!

I hope these tips help! I got to level 20 without even buying extra stars and gems, just doing the goals and mining gems and breeding bunnies, then I gave in and bought some stars to speed up the bunnies! I think this game is super fun it's probably in my top 3 favorite app games, I love it!

Leave them on a bed overnight. Or a chair. Leave them there, and the next day they will be healthy.

Yes. The chair and bed are made exactly for resting your bunny. It takes a very long time though, hours and hours. A suggestion is for the high level bunnies, put some of them to work, while the others can rest. When the working bunnies get tired, you can switch them with the resting ones.
